One of Vortexia's most powerful features is event-reactive visuals. When someone subscribes, donates bits, follows, or raids your channel, the fractal visuals react in real-time with unique effects for each event type. This guide walks through connecting your Twitch account and configuring event reactions.
Connecting Your Twitch Account
- Log in to the Vortexia dashboard
- Navigate to the Platform Connections section
- Click "Connect Twitch"
- Authorize Vortexia in the Twitch OAuth popup
- Your channel events will start flowing automatically
Event Types and Visual Reactions
Each event type creates a distinct visual signature so viewers can tell at a glance what happened:
- Subscriptions: Warm pulse effect with expanding glow — intensity scales with sub tier (Tier 3 subs create the biggest reactions)
- Bits/Cheers: Electric burst with particle-like scatter — scales with bit amount
- Follows: Gentle ripple effect — subtle but noticeable
- Raids: Dramatic visual takeover with color shift — scales with raider count
- Hype Trains: Sustained intensity increase that builds throughout the hype train duration
Customizing Event Intensity
In the dashboard, you can adjust how strongly the visuals react to each event type. Some streamers prefer subtle reactions that complement gameplay, while music streamers might want dramatic effects that become the focus. Use the reaction intensity slider to find your sweet spot.
Manual Triggers and Trigger Links
For platforms Vortexia does not read automatically (Kick, TikTok), or whenever you want manual control, fire effects yourself: the dashboard buttons, Shift+Alt+1 to 6 while the dashboard is focused, or a private trigger link on a Stream Deck, Touch Portal or TikFinity. Each effect keeps its own treatment, so a follow is still a soft ripple and a raid is still a zoom rush.
