Presets and Looks

A preset is a whole look in one tap - engine, colours, depth and motion together - picked by its picture from the looks strip under the visual in the dashboard. There are 20 across eight engines. Eight are on the free plan: Cyberpunk Neon, Lava Flow, Deep Ocean, Song Shapes (the song itself shapes the fractal), the Halloween looks Spider Web and Witch's Brew, and the Christmas looks Snowfall and Frost. Plus adds Aurora Veil (calm curtains of light), Plasma Drift (smooth lo-fi colour), Hyperwarp (travelling starlight), Caustics (light through moving water), Liquid Neon, Bass Tunnel (lands on the kick, made for DJ sets), Mandala (symmetrical geometry), Void Spike (darker and sharper), Haunted (the darkest Halloween look), and the raymarched 3D Mandelbulb, Menger Temple and Snow Globe. Every preset is a starting point: colour, symmetry, depth and sensitivity stay adjustable afterwards.

Ambient Mode — visuals without OBS

If you go live from a phone — TikTok LIVE, Instagram Live, or Twitch and YouTube on mobile — you cannot add a browser source, because those apps have no way to accept one. Ambient Mode solves it the way DJs already do: open vortexia.live/ambient on a tablet, TV, spare phone or old laptop, tap Start, and prop that screen behind you. One tap keeps the display awake, turns on the microphone so the visual moves with your music, and goes fullscreen. No account, no download, and the on-screen controls fade away so nothing is caught on camera.

Getting Started

  1. Visit vortexia.live and choose your visual style
  2. Enable microphone access for audio reactivity
  3. Copy the viewer URL into OBS as a Browser Source
  4. Set width to 1920 and height to 1080
