Why not just buy a lofi background loop?
A loop is a file, so it does two things this cannot: it works with no browser and no GPU, and it looks identical every time, which some people want. What it cannot do is last. Lofi audiences sit for hours, and a short clip cycling that long becomes visible - and it will never move with the track, because a video has no idea what is playing over it.
Will it distract from the music?
Only if you let it. Drop the audio sensitivity and pick a slower look - Deep Ocean or Plasma Drift rather than Bass Tunnel - and the motion becomes something you notice at the edge of vision rather than something that pulls the eye. For a study or chill stream that is usually the right setting.
Does it work for a 24/7 unattended stream?
It runs indefinitely as long as the browser source stays open, and because nothing is pre-rendered there is nothing to loop back. On an unattended stream, use a computer rather than a phone and leave the tab visible - browsers stop drawing pages in hidden tabs.
What if my music is quiet?
It separates bass, mid and treble rather than reading overall loudness, so quiet music still drives it - the response is proportional. If it feels flat, raise the sensitivity; if it jumps on every hi-hat, lower it.
