What is A Starting Soon Screen with a Live Countdown?
Vortexia’s Starting Soon scene puts STARTING SOON and a live countdown over an audio-reactive visual, inside the same OBS Browser Source you use for the rest of your stream. In the dashboard, open the Scenes tab, choose Starting Soon and set the countdown anywhere from 1 to 30 minutes. The visual moves with whatever intro music you are playing, so viewers who arrive early see something alive rather than a static card, and when you are ready you switch to Only Visuals from the same tab. Nothing is pre-rendered, so there is no video file to export and no After Effects project to maintain. Be Right Back and Stream Ending scenes sit in the same tab, and all of them are free.
How to use A Starting Soon Screen with a Live Countdown
Add Vortexia to OBS once. Copy your OBS link from the dashboard and add it as a Browser Source. It is the same source that shows your visual.
Choose Starting Soon. In the Vortexia dashboard, open the Scenes tab and choose Starting Soon.
Set the countdown. Drag the timer to anywhere between 1 and 30 minutes.
Go live, then switch to Only Visuals. When you are ready to start, choose Only Visuals in the same tab. The countdown does not switch scenes by itself.

Frequently asked questions
When does the countdown start?
When the Starting Soon scene appears on your stream. It counts down to 00:00 and holds there. Changing the duration, or switching away from the scene and back, starts it again from the top.
How long can the countdown be?
Anything from 1 to 30 minutes, set with a slider in the Scenes tab. It starts at 5.
Do I need After Effects or a video file?
No. The screen is drawn live inside the Browser Source, so there is nothing to render or export, and it never repeats the way a looped video does.
Will it react to my intro music?
Yes, as long as the Vortexia dashboard tab is open, because that tab listens to your audio. Bass, mids and treble each drive part of the motion, and a kick lands as a pulse.
Is it free?
Yes. Every scene is on the free plan, which renders at 720p and 30fps with a small watermark. Plus removes the watermark and renders at 1080p and 60fps.
