What is Live Visuals Instead of Looping Clips?

VJ loops are short video clips that repeat, and they cannot know what your track is doing. Vortexia takes the other approach for techno: it renders the picture live, on your graphics card, from the music as it plays, so it never repeats and every kick lands a punch on the actual beat rather than wherever the clip happens to be. The bassline breathes the zoom and the hats make the colours pop. It runs in a browser tab: add it to OBS as a Browser Source for a streamed set, or open Ambient Mode on a laptop wired to a club screen, with no account. If you do need a file, clip export records a vertical clip of up to 60 seconds, but it is a recording rather than a seamless loop.
