Vortexia can give a Kick stream a green, moving layer, as long as you pick the right engine. The look on this page is the Bass Tunnel preset with Color Shift set to 100, which lands on a Kick-style green and stays there, because the tunnel holds its colour. The fractal engines cannot: their colours sweep round the whole wheel about every 20 seconds, so a brand colour only passes through. The tunnel also has dark gaps between its rings, so it works as a real overlay: right-click the source in OBS, set Blending Mode to Screen, and the green rings glow over your game while the black drops away. Bass Tunnel and the Kick connection are part of Plus, where follows, new and renewed subs, gifted subs and Kicks each set off their own effect. Manual triggers work on every plan.
How to use A Green Overlay Built for Kick
Add it to OBS. Copy your OBS link from the Vortexia dashboard and add it as a Browser Source.

Blend it over your game. Right-click the source, choose Blending Mode and set Screen.
Connect Kick. In the Platforms tab, connect Kick so follows, subs and Kicks trigger effects.

Frequently asked questions
How do I get the Kick green?
Choose the Bass Tunnel preset in the Visuals tab and set Color Shift to about 100. The tunnel holds that colour; nudge the slider to match your exact shade.
Why not a fractal look?
The fractal engines sweep through every colour about every 20 seconds, so they cannot hold a brand colour. Color Shift only sets where their cycle starts.
Can it sit over my game?
Yes, this one can. The tunnel has black gaps between its rings, so set the source’s Blending Mode to Screen in OBS and only the green rings show over your game.
Which Kick events does it react to?
Follows, new subscriptions, renewals, gifted subs and Kicks, once Kick is connected in the dashboard on Plus. Each has its own effect across the whole layer.
Is it free?
Bass Tunnel and the Kick connection are part of Plus, which also removes the watermark and renders at 1080p and 60fps. The free plan’s three engines cycle their colours, so they cannot hold Kick green.
